The main goal of this year’s advocacy is to prioritize food and nutrition security for all Filipinos. It highlights the urgent need for everyone—from government officials to community leaders, families, and individuals—to work together in ensuring that every person, especially the vulnerable sectors, has consistent access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food.
Nutrition security goes beyond just having food on the table. It means having the right kind of foodthat meets our body’s nutritional needs so we can grow, learn, work, and live healthy lives. This year’s theme emphasizes that food is right , not a privilege—and that hunger and malnutrition are issues that must be addressed with urgency and compassion.
Joining NutriJingle was more than just a school activity for me—it was an experience that left a lasting mark. From the moment we started practicing, to the day we performed, I felt a mix of excitement, nervousness, and pride. Standing on stage, the lights bright and the audience waiting, my heart was racing. But as soon as the music started, everything just flowed. Our message about nutrition and healthy living came alive through our voices and movements. The applause we received wasn’t just for the performance, but for the effort, teamwork, and passion behind it. NutriJingle wasn’t only about singing or performing—it was about sharing something meaningful. It taught me how powerful music can be in spreading awareness and inspiring others. I also discovered how much I enjoy performing when it’s for a good cause.
